600kW School Solar Installation, Liverpool

Manchester Renewables completed one of our largest projects to date — a 600kW commercial solar PV system installed on a school in Liverpool. The installation spans multiple green roof sections across the school campus, with rows of high-efficiency panels carefully positioned around skylights and rooftop plant.

Working closely with the school, our team planned the installation around the academic calendar to keep disruption to a minimum. The green roof design meant careful consideration of weight loadings and mounting systems to protect the existing membrane while maximising panel coverage.

A system of this scale is expected to generate around 500,000 kWh of clean electricity per year — enough to cover a significant proportion of the school's energy demand and deliver substantial savings on electricity bills for years to come.
