Care Home Solar Installation — Project 2
Our second care home solar installation — another commercial PV system fitted across the roof of a residential care facility in Greater Manchester. This project involved panels across multiple pitched roof sections, with the layout designed to work around dormers, vents, and access hatches.
Like our first care home project, the round-the-clock energy demand made this an ideal building for solar. Heating, hot water, laundry, kitchen equipment, and lighting all run throughout the day, so the vast majority of electricity generated by the panels is consumed on-site.
The installation was planned in close coordination with the care home's management team. All work was carried out without any interruption to the building's power or daily operations, and the system was fully commissioned and generating within two weeks of starting on-site.
