New Build Solar Installation, Glossop

Manchester Renewables installed solar PV systems across a new-build housing development in Glossop. Each property was fitted with in-roof or on-roof mounted panels during the construction phase, giving homeowners lower energy bills and a smaller carbon footprint from the day they move in.

Working directly with the developer, our team integrated solar into the build programme — fitting panels while scaffolding was already in place and wiring systems before handover. This approach is cheaper and cleaner than retrofitting, with no additional access costs and a seamless finish on every plot.

New builds in Glossop and the High Peak area benefit from good solar irradiance levels, and with Part L building regulations now requiring renewable energy on new homes, solar is quickly becoming standard on developments across the region.
