New Build Solar Installation, Oldham

Manchester Renewables installed solar PV systems across a new-build housing development in Oldham. Roof-mounted panels were fitted on each property during the build phase, giving every homeowner a working solar system from the day they move in.

Oldham is one of several Greater Manchester boroughs where we regularly work with developers on new-build projects. The area gets strong enough solar irradiance to make PV systems a worthwhile investment, and with Part L regulations now requiring renewable energy on new homes, developers are building solar into every scheme.

Our team coordinated with the site manager to fit panels at the right stage of each plot — after the roof was tiled and while scaffolding was still up. Wiring was run during first fix, and each system was commissioned and MCS certified before the homeowner's completion date.
